SAW tube

SAW pipes, especially LSAW pipes, are commonly used in the oil and gas industry for transporting flammable and non flammable fuels. They are also used as conveyor lines in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Submerged arc welding (SAW) is a common arc welding process.

This process is usually limited to flat welding or horizontal corner welding positions (although welding at horizontal groove positions is supported by special arrangements to support the flux).

Submerged arc welded pipe is made of hot-rolled coil steel by automatic submerged arc welding at room temperature. All pipelines are produced in accordance with API Spec 5L, GB/T9711.1, GB/T9711.2, and ASTM A252-89 standards. These pipelines are mainly used in the oil and gas industry to transport flammable and non flammable liquids as well as steel structures.
