ГОСТ Р 52079

The Russian standard ГОスТパ 52079 is a technical specification specifically designed for spiral welded steel pipes used in main oil and gas pipelines. It is applicable to spiral seam welded steel pipes with diameters ranging from 114-1420 millimeters, mainly used for transporting corrosive media such as natural gas, petroleum, and petroleum products. The design working pressure can reach 9.8 megapascals (about 100 kgf/cm2), and it can operate stably in a low-temperature environment of minus 60 ℃. This standard provides clear requirements for the welding process, mechanical properties, and environmental adaptability of steel pipes, as well as their safety and durability under high pressure and extreme temperature conditions.
